Wilderness Survival II (1Day)

Building on our Wilderness Survival I course, we will dive deeper into some of the techniques that can help us to manage emergencies in the backcountry.

Advance your shelter building techniques, refine your fire lighting skills and learn how to manage a campfire for warming and cooking. Practice how to use an improvised winch or pulley system. Learn about wild edibles and how to fish and trap in a survival situation.

  • Survival shelter using natural materials
  • Advanced fire starting
  • Campfire management
  • Advanced rope work, knots and winch systems
  • Wild edibles (plants, fishing, trapping)
  • Improvising tools
